A beautiful hullabaloo.
Don’t get me wrong, I hold a special place in my heart for the Beautiful Game but we’re only four days into the World Cup & I’m not sure I can put up with another 3 & a half weeks of that bloomin’ buzzing noise. What I thought was a severe case of tinnitus in my ears is in fact the sound of a large blowing instrument called a Vuvuzela.Vuvuarrrrrgggggghhhhh. Anyways that’s my rant over!
If like me you’re a bit of a footy fan, then no doubt you were glued to the box at around 7:30pm on Saturday night watching our boys in white take on our American counterparts. Skipper Stevie Gerrard set the pace in the first five minutes after scoring a blinder of a goal – my heart goes out to those of you who missed it cos of an ITV HD blunder.
Poor old Rob Green though – his howler cost England a win and no doubt incurred the wrath of a fair few fans! Don’t worry lovey – RedBus believes that you’ll come back fighting even stronger ahead of Friday’s game against Algeria.
On that note – score predictions anyone? I’m hedging a 2-0 win to the Three Lions…..
