It’s almost the weekend folks so it can only mean one thing… stellar Saturday night TV on ITV1! Post Saturday afternoon shopping, you can guarantee that I’ll be forfeiting a girls night out for a girls night in with the very handsome Vernon Kay.

Starting at the earlier time of 6pm this Saturday, the latest episode of All Star Family Fortunes is set to be a cracker! Our fav popstar – come – reality TV star Peter Andre takes on former X Factor presenter Kate Thornton!

Peter Andre is probably best known for his #1 single Mysterious Girl back in 1995 and later for his marriage to former glamour girl Katie Price. The pair once starred in their very own reality TV show Katie & Peter which documented the lives of Katie, Peter and their children.

No stranger to reality TV is Pete’s opponent Kate Thornton. Kate was once the presenter of X Factor but was famously panned by Simon Cowell in favour of her successor Dermot O’Leary.

So will Kate be a thorn in Pete’s side this Saturday or will the latter be the celeb to get out of there and scoop the £30,000 cash prize for charity? Make sure you tune in to All Star Family Fortunes from 6pm on ITV1 this Saturday 8th October to find out.
