Round, but not round for long…

Today’s chocolate was a stocking, yum yum! I’m starting to think of stocking filler ideas, and remember when I was younger I used to get an apple and an orange in the toe of mine. Of course I always put them back in the fruit bowl when nobody was looking! Faced with the choice of a real orange or a chocolate orange there was a clear winner and the healthy option was voted out.

Talking of chocolate oranges made me dig out a recipe I’ve been meaning to try – Chocolate Orange Fudge! It could be the perfect stocking filler. Care to try it with me? Here’s the recipe…

397g tin of condensed milk, 380g chocolate chips, 60g chopped pecans, 1 dessert spoons of grated orange zest.
Melt the chocolate with condensed milk. Stir until smooth, then take off the heat and stir in pecans and orange zest. Pour the mix into a tin lined with baking parchment and chill until firm. Then cut into squares and enjoy!
